Biography
Almost all REALTORS® get into the Real Estate Business after finishing a career in another line of work. In my case, I retired from the Winnipeg Police Service (it was still called a "Force" when I joined back in 1981). During my 24-yr career I worked in many different districts, including Transcona, North and E/K, St James, St. Boniface/St. Vital and Fort Garry. I also worked for over 4 years in Plain Clothes Investigative Divisions, including Child Abuse and Sex Crimes, among others.
My duties incuded being a Field Training Officer, a Breathalyzer Operator, "Scene of Crime Officer" (kinda like CSI but on a smaller scale), and one-person Report Unit.
I retired in 2005 and joined Re/Max Performance Realty, the largest and most successful Re/Max office in Manitoba. As I understand that Real Estate is all about bringing Sellers and Buyers together, I am proud to say that, unlike "Listing Agents", or "Buyer Specialists", I am fully trained, educated and tested in both fields.
