In this fast-changing real estate market, home buyers need accurate and timely information to help them in their buying decisions, whether they are purchasing a house or a condominium.  For this reason, Bo has teamed up with a lawyer and a mortgage lender to present an evening of educational and interactive presentations.  Featured presenters include:

Mr. Lewis Penner of CrosstownCivic Credit Union:  As manager of the St. Anne’s branch of one of Manitoba’s largest credit unions, Mr. Penner will speak on the most recent changes to mortgage requirements, including the loss of the ‘zero-down’ option.  He will discuss how credit ratings work, and offer options on improving your scores, increasing your chances at finding a home.

Mr. Bo Kauffmann of Re/Max Performance Realty will speak about the current market conditions, and how to choose and work with your own Realtor.  Among Bo’s credentials are the designation of Accredited Buyer Representation, as well as numerous awards from both the Real Estate Board and Re/Max.  

Mr. David Vincent of Tacium, Vincent, Orlikow Law Office will discuss the legalities involved in the purchase of a home, including the way home taxes are paid and collected, as well as some of the other costs involved such as Land Titles Taxes.  Mr. Vincent has over 20 experience in the field of Real Estate Law.
